Usually the construction industry is slow to get moving in the New Year but this has not been the case for LHL Group. January 2018 has been very productive with a healthy and varied workload planned for the rest of the year.

We have had a great start to 2018 in the projects team with Ampleforth Monastery progressing well with full scaffold up and the internal strip out almost complete. We also found an original ornate screen sandwiched between a partition wall, which will be refurbished and reinstated. The new Combined Cadet Force facility at St Peter’s School in York was completed despite the recent bad weather and we have received some great instructions from new and existing clients like the re-roof at bar convent and various works at Hull Royal Infirmary. LHL continue to work with the Diocese of Leeds on a number of projects at different stages of feasibility, planning and Construction on site. This includes the refurbishment of the Bishop of Ripon’s new residence. The new Travelodge at Monks Cross has started on site and will keep us busy alongside various other projects.
