Ian Hazel-Gant

Building Surveyor

Ian brings a unique surveying perspective to LHL.  Initially trained as a stone carver at Canterbury Cathedral, he worked at York Minster and at two other cathedrals, a practice of building conservation architects and managed a portfolio of listed buildings on a private estate.  Ian has experience of working on and surveying, churches, agricultural and listed buildings.  He advises clients in the pre-acquisition of property, reporting, prioritising and specifying repairs and enjoys the challenges older buildings present, but is equally at home surveying modern structures.
