Building Surveyor

A Building Surveyor is required to join a multi-disciplinary technical consultancy based in York, open to applicants working towards MRICS or have achieved chartered status.

As a Building Surveyor you will be joining a highly driven multi-disciplinary team delivering projects across all sectors based from our head office in York.

Your new role 

You’ll be working in a busy full-time Building Surveying role with responsibility for overall project delivery of a wide variety of projects, taking projects from design and feasibility stages, through to specification, tender, site supervision and completion. What you’ll need to succeed 

In order to succeed in your new role, you should have existing knowledge and experience across the delivery of construction projects including extensions, refurbishments, alterations, conversions and new builds. A good understanding of JCT Contracts and Contract Administrator software and a good grasp of Microsoft programs including Excel and Project. Have the confidence and skill to communicate and negotiate with clients and contractors in person and in written form.
