John Denton, former Managing Director and Consultant at LHL Group recently took part in the Fat Rascals Charity Bike Ride in June.
The 80 mile ride took place on the 12th June and was organised by Bettys and Taylors of Harrogate. A total of 105 riders took part throughout the day.
The ride began bright and early outside Bettys in York and wound its way around the hills of North and West Yorkshire towards Ilkley, for a quick pit stop before the return leg back to York.
The ride supported various charities including The Cellar Trust, Childrens Heart Surgery Fund, St Michaels Hospice,The Jordan Legacy, Special Care Baby Unit, York Mind and the RNLI. So far the event has raised a total of £5,300! With further money raised from the sale of Fat Rascal merchandise.
The provisional date for next year’s event is set for Sunday 21st May 2023.
